Angela Peterson MA, LPC
Angela was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from West Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2011. In 2016, Angela graduated from West Texas A&M University with a M.A. in Psychology. Over the past 6 years, Angela has worked with hundreds of children, teens, and adults in many settings.

Angela previously worked with young adults at the collegiate level at West Texas A&M University and currently serves as a therapist, part-time, at Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine for their graduate students. Angela has also provided therapy in school districts, outpatient clinic, and private practice. When it comes to therapy, Angela is most passionate about working with children, young adults, and their families to help them find healthy ways to cope independently as well as in their family unit.

Angela's dedication to her community was recently acknowledged when she was recognized as a Top 20 Under 40 Young Professional by the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce in 2022. Beyond working with children and their families, Angela enjoys serving on the Amarillo Area Association of Mental Health Professionals as a way to support other mental health professionals learn and grow their practices. She has served on the AAAMHP board of directors as the president, past president, and currently serves as the president elect.

During her free time, Angela enjoys crafting, working out and spending time traveling with her amazing husband and their two beautiful children.
